Invivo Wines is a premium New Zealand winery producing world class wines from both the Marlborough and Central Otago regions. Invivo was founded in 2007 by two 30 year old New Zealanders, Tim Lightbourne and Rob Cameron (Invivo’s winemaker). The Invivo vision is to produce the best of New Zealand wine and bring this to the world in an innovative and contemporary approach.
Invivo released their first wines in 2008 and currently produces Sauvignon Blanc, Pinot Noir, Pinot Gris and Rosé. In September 2010, Invivo also released a lower alcohol and lower calorie Sauvignon Blanc called “bella by Invivo”.
In a short space of time, Invivo has established itself on the world stage. In both 2009 & 2010, Invivo was named trophy finalist for New Zealand Wine Producer of the Year at the prestigious International Wine and Spirit Competition (IWSC) in London. In 2010, the Invivo Central Otago Pinot Noir was named in the Top 3 in the world and awarded gold best in class by over 40 MW judges at IWSC. The Invivo Sauvignon Blanc was awarded Gold and 5 stars by Decanter Magazine and named in the Top.10 Sauvignon Blancs in the world at the 2010 Decanter World Wine Awards. The Invivo Sauvignon Blanc was also named Trophy winner for the UK White Wine of the Year at the UK’s 2010 Quality Drinks Awards.
Invivo’s unique marketing approach and support of the creative industries has also been rewarded. Invivo was presented with the AMCOR Innovation in New Zealand Wine Marketing trophy at the 2009 Hospitality New Zealand Show.
